Before first use

Gently pull the bottle nipple in all directions and carefully inspect it for any signs of weakness or damage.

Always sterilize new bottle nipples before first use.

Replacement

Check bottle nipples regularly, replacing them every 8-12 weeks or at the first sign of damage or weakness.

Cleaning

Silicone bottle nipples can be sterilized via scalding or the microwave method :

Confirm that your microwave settings are 800W (or equivalent) and that the water temperature is 100°C / 212°F.

Place the bottle nipples in a microwave-safe sterilization box (like a BIBS pacifier box) and fill it with water.

Microwave for 60 seconds.

Allow the box to cool before removing the nipples.
